I have a 98 custom with this setup: regulator, cyclone feed system and i have a problem with my valve. It will not work at times or it starts acting like it is out of air which it is not. I thought it was the valve so i bought a new one from countypaintball.com and replaced that, but when i played with it the next day it done the same thing to me.

Have you tried a new drive spring? Old one could be worn/weak.
I see from your signature you had a different set up before. Is the regulator something you recently added? Could be starving the system? Test without the reg? |

have you checked the rear bolt O-Ring? Front Bolt O-Ring? Do you oil it regularly?

I am 90% sure that it is not your valve. Like the previous post, I too say to check your reg pressure. If the reg pressure is too low, the gun will not have enough pressure to recock, and will 'auto-fire' like it is out of air. Turn your reg up. If that fixes it, you are set. If not, look at friction in your reciprocating mechanism. Need oiled/cleaned? bad orings? cracked power tube at rear bolt? Jay |

I have learned from experience that a collapsible stock somtimes does not push enough pressure on the drive spring. This could be a potential cause for your problem. Brad |
