My A-5 will not recock.  What would be the potential causes of this.

you could have busted a ball in the chamber and got the bolt stuck take apart the gun and see if theres is any paint in the breech and if there is clean and it should work.

have you taken it apart lately? usually the spring that is connected to the thing that you cock it back with can break loose of where it should be.

Loose valve, damaged rear bolt "O" ring, inadequate lubrication. And the obvious one, too little gas in the cylinder.

Problem fixed.  It was my stock bolt.  I was just using it for the heck of it, but I put my ST Supafly back in and it's working great!  Thanks for the comments.

But then replacing the front bolt with the Surpa Fly bolt would have made no difference.

Im having the same problem, when i go to cock the gun, it sounds like the rear bolt is falling back down if i aim the gun at a slight angle, i took it apart checked everything and it seemed fine so its back together

Did you correct the problem?  If not I would have to say that the problem is either with the sear or the rear bolt being worn out too much that it cannot get a good "grip".
