I just found a ebolt or a e grip for a model 98 for 100 bucks brand new i just wanted to know how hard would it be to install one.

i believe that it's for the m98, if you have a 98custom you will have
to do some modifications to make it work in a 98 custom. not a bad
price tho.

If it is the E-Bolt that is a good price, as EKIM 98 said. If the E-Bolt kit is one for the M98 there will be some minor modifications to the grip area of the 98 Custom to make it fit...but it will work well. The E-Grip you mentioned is very different. It is a sear tripper that will allow you to operate the marker a similar rates of fire as with the E-Bolt. The price of $100 for either is very good. And if you haven't concluded it from my myriad of previous posts on the subject, I prefer the E-Bolt due to the fact that you can reduce the operating pressure extremely low because there is no longer the need to "blow back" the hammer to cock the marker. |
