So, who has broke into their own home before? My parents weren't
home and I didn't have a key or a phone, so I had to. It was
pretty simple to, I took a putty knife and screw driver and poped off
the screen, then used a putty knife to open the lock on the window (It
wasn't locked the whole way, thankfully). Took all of 10 minutes
from teh time I got home.
Might I add, this isn't talk of illegal activity because it was breaking into my own home. Edited by WGP guy2 |

Once I had to break into my house at 4am, so I climbed through my sisters window, but she started screaming, so I stabbed her.

It also isnt call breaking and entering because it is your own home....
It is called entering in way other than door...... If you were outside, where did the putty knife and screwdriver come from? Ten minutes is a long time, to pop a screen and slide open a window. You need more practice, Mr. Cat Burgalar. It should take you less then ten seconds. I do it all the time when my nephew is a smartass and locks me out. Glad to see your house is an easy target.... I know where I am holiday shopping this year.... Playing with your XBOX 360 will be even sweeter than me buying my own. Edited by Hades |

Not really, I've always had a keypad on the garage and/or a key to the door.

Putty knife and screwdriver came from shed. And I don't have a 360. Also, it was just luck that the window wasn't completely locked, and usually the alarm is on. Edited by WGP guy2 |

So I any 8 year old is able to break into a house in under ten minutes using the tools found at the location, it would take a theif magical powers to do the same thing?
You were going to get a 360 for Christmas this year but not anymore since I took it from under Mommies bed while you were at school today. Good thing a window was partically unlocked and the alarm wasnt set.... |

And yes, I have broken into my own house with my stepdad. We had just come back form Big Bear and my mother had the key but wasn't coming until the morning. We went into our garage (separate from the house)and got a crowbar and pushed one of the older doors into (not deadbolted). |

Yeah for a dictionary!!!!
breaking and entering n. 1) the criminal act of entering a residence or other enclosed property through the slightest amount of force (even pushing open a door), without authorization. If there is intent to commit a crime, this is burglary. If there is no such intent, the breaking and entering alone is probably at least illegal trespass, which is a misdemeanor crime. 2) the criminal charge for the above. Hurray? The window wasnt locked if he was able to push it open without breaking it.... |

It was his property, so w/e, it's fine.
I never have had to yet, here I always have my keys, back home there's always a key hidden somewhere, you just need to know where it is. |

Since he lives there and his parents havent gone through the proccess of legally evicting him, the law gives him permission to enter his own (his parents residence).... |
