Nothing. Save up till you have enough money for an Ion, tank, and hopper. Getting another low-end gun is just stupid.

Get a nice HPA tank, maybe an electro hopper like an Egg, a double
trigger, and then WAIT. Just be patient until you have enough money to
get a better gun. You will be wasting your money if you try to buy a
$150 gun that is better than your 98.

3000 PSI into your ion would rip it to shreds.
3000 refers to the internal pressure in the tank. More internal pressure = more air, and more shots. The output pressure, on the other hand, is what goes into the gun, after it is regulated. Nitro tanks are preset to either an 850PSI output pressure or about 400PSI. I'm not sure which one to get for the ion. And if your field only fills to 3000, then a 4500 tank would be a waste of money, so go with the 3K. |

You can use both with an Ion. High or Low Pressure. But get a HP tank, since you have the choice. This will prevent any possible shootdwon that might occur (even though it probably wouldn't).And, you can also use the tank with your 98, if you still have it, as where LP would not work. And just incase you're wondering..., yes the Ion can run a a HP tank, even though it operates at a LP. The HPR (High Presssure Regulator) will bring the PSI down from ~800, to the operating pressure of the Ion.., whatever that is. |
