Idk... how to delete the older posts.... the mods will do it i gues when they see it. Now as for the Prostock... I love this gun very much... I wanted it in black but they didn'y have it in black so i settled for pewter. It works very smoothly. I backed the back block out a bit so instead of a "fsssss, clackkk" all i get is a "fssss".... Stock barrel is okay to be 9.5", but you must use very small paint. I'm replacing mine with a CP classic one peice.... the one on it now is actually good to be a PMI Razzor... its rifled sorta on the inside. The 3-way does not leak as most people think and could be smaller (in terms of the distance between the barb fittings) for less trigger pull. But now the valve needs constant oiling via dropping a few drops in the asa and gasing it up... or it will leak moderatley. Stock bps rate is pretty fast for mech... i got it up to 12bps pulling the trigger the "wrong" way... by holding in my arm with hand and basically jacking off the trigger... this is do to the very good STO ram that it come with. The Black Magic reg works perfectly.. only about a 10fps + or - drop in velocity of shots once cronoed correctly. Adjusting the Velocity takes a while as with all cockers. My body came with a few minor dings in inconspicuous places. The trigger frame is the same as the Trilogy Pro, but very high quality. the only problem i have with it is that i dont think you can put a "cam adjuster" on it. Cuase it has about a 1.5cm pull. THE one true downer to the gun is that it uses a "P"-block... which means the back block is inverted to make the bolt smaller. Problem i have with this is that no one yet makes after market bolts for this block. So i'm gonna get a CCM standard back block and a Stiffi or Supafly bolt.. which tho longer... still weigh less than the stock bolt and block setup. Now don't get me wrong the one it has works perfectly... i just dont like that there are no upgrades for it as of now. it looks wierd with a standard block on it. I have a Halo and this "mech" cocker because the actual speed at which the gun cycles is incredibly fast due to the STO., so both a grav. and 12v revvy were insufice. It needs a clamping feed neck. had to sand Halo down alot. Its fairly easy to dissasemble. just a suped up spyder basically. Most people think that beacause of the front block they are very complicated but not really. It will take some figuring how to tkae it apart cause so much stuff connects andd goes thru so much other stuff... but it not hard to figure out. I use this gun in the woods by the way. for those worried about the pneum hoses, dont... because i had no problem what so ever... i went thru bushes, dove, and ran into a tree with them. nothing to worry about. but it is a good idea to carry extra with you. So dont let that discourage you from buying and playing in the woods with it. 8/10 for design due to the back block... 8.5/10 for over-all looks 10/10 for accuracy 9/10 for air efficiency (about 300-375 shots from a 47/3000) 10/10 for overall performance as a mech (performs as well as a karni when an E-frame is put on it) 9.8/10 for upgrade-abilty (-.2 for back block, but it can be replaced) Total: 9.2 If you've been wanting a cocker, get this one or the '04 Prostock. The '04 is about $250... this one goes for $300-$400. it's a little expensive for the beginner but for someone with about 3 years exp. its a very good gun to get and work on it and make it an even better gun. So if theres anything else you wanna know just ask. Edited by ctchofday |

^^^oh, haha yeah actually.... but not struggling. It weighs 8lbs fully loaded, and was holding it out away from me... so it was a little hard to hold up, and keep from dropping it. |

Heh, needs some ups, just looks a little plain. Nice though, good
you didn't get the superstock, you will be much happier with an E2 (If
you want one) than with teh superstock frame.

HUH... hmmm... for begginers it no too bad... i just requires more maintenance than what someone just starting would want to handle. which is why most people say Ions PWN Cockers you NEWB..... its cause they're the NEWBS and they have no effing idea what to do with it when something goes wrong. |
