I thought tippmann was supposed to mean quality. I got an a-5 a couple of months back and I was thrilled. I used it a couple of times, making sure to follow the instructions in the manual. Then, the very first time I field stripped it, it went fine until I tried to put it back together. I had followed all the directions perfectly and when I tried to put the gas line back into the upper receiver, It wouldn't go. I kept on trying, then a washer fell out of the power tube. That scared me. I sent it away to tippmann and waited. I got my gun back two days before my next big game, supposedly good as new. It shot fine that next game and I was happy again. Then I tried to pressurize the A5 this morning and all the CO2 leaked out of the barrel immediately. What the heck's wrong with my marker?

have you oiled your o rings?.....the one that came out of yor power tube seems to happen sometimes. take the barrel off and put a couple of oil drops in the asa (the hole where you put the cos tank) and fire it a few times. also cock the gun before charging |

Had the small problem and freaked out too. But I think I know exactly what youre problem is. Take it apart, and look at your valve.the washer that fell out the first time is supposed to be held in by a special oring. Its a little bigger then the usual orings. I suggest getting a parts kit from tippmann and you will have an extra one of those for emergencys.

Forgot to mention to try cocking it before pressurizing it and let us know what happens.
