I've seen the quickstrip mod many times on 98s. I know it is just a cut right through the body, but how does it enable you to quick strip the gun, and how does it stay together?

No, it is where you basically cut the receivers in half(or so it seems) near the middle of the gun.

You just cut the left reciever in half (near the middle body screw). This enables you to only take 1 half off at a time. It's basicly made for the E-Bolt, so you can just take the front half of the reciever off, and not mess with the electronics. But you can still do it with a mech gun.
