It doesnt look bad.  In the 1st pic the paint looks weird in one spot.  I didnt look at the others cuz they take to long to load though.

yeah sorry, my webserver ain't fast, and I choose quality of pics, if you grab # 6 it has a better view of the texture.

To get that effect, freeze your marker, spray it with black spray paint, let it dry a bit, then nail it with an acrylic over-paint to protect it. I't "crackles".

and the mess up spot...was where I pressed to turn the safety on after I had painted it and put it back together...the paint hadn't quite dried...=)
