From what I hear also, they're awesome too. But, I personally still like the ProFiler's better.

^^^ Fact or fiction those masks are better. Try looking at both of
them before you guys just make posts about masks you don't even have. |

I might not personally have either, but I've read a lot about both, seen people that have both, and have read reviews on both. And after what I've read, seen, and heard, I personally think that the Pro Filer is better. I also think that the Vents are awesome, don't get me wrong. Both are in the top 5 masks out there. I'm not bashing the Vents, I'm just telling you my opinion on what mask I prefer. |

^^I do like the vents better, but when masks reach an overall
quality that these masks have, then it doesn't matter which one. It is really a choice of style and because of that i like the vent. |

Very true. I guess you could say I like the old fashion mask look, not really the sleek look of the Vents. |

I don't make a big deal over masks. If it is reasonably priced with anti-fogging lenses then I am okay with it. I wouldn't want to thrown out $100 for a mask.

I personally like the V-Force Shield, but have never used any of the other V-Force masks.......but I do have a couple JT masks(envader/flex 7) and personally I think they both suck compared to the V-Force mask

A mask is always overlokked by the newer players, but it's pretty much the most important upgrade you can buy.....spending more on your mask than you did on your gun isn't such a bad thing! What is more important to you, shooting fast/accurately or protecting your face?
Don't skimp on your mask.....the JT enforcer or envader was my first mask, and i thought it was great, until I tried a V-Force and learned that a mask is pretty much the most important piece of paintball equipment you can buy. |

So when I get a new mask is it going to be vents or profiler. How to decide? I guess which one is cheaper, leaning toward the profiler for me. Does the funky lens work like the claims on that one?

If you mean the optically-correct spherical lenses, yes they do work well IME. Makes it seem like you aren't wearing a mask, good stuff.
