Listening to NPR this morning as allways I heard a story about how the
CIA is torchering captives with music from Eminem and 2-Pac, etc. They
are claiming this is cruel and unusual punishment.
I say waaaaaaaaaa, at least we arent cutting there damn heads off and video taping it for that persons family to witness. |

Oh well.
Sensory deprovation is great for disorentation. Blind fold and hours and hours of tupac will mess with your head. I was told they used white noise and static mostly. |

Yeah. We do lots of stuff. Strip them nude, sensory deprovation, stress exorsizes, rapid change in temporature, sleep deprovation. The list goes on and on.

To their culture, the things we do are worse than death.
Being stripped of your clothes and made to crawl like a dog, told you are less than a man. Thats worse than death in their culture. Its all relative. If they werent terrorist when they arrived in the camp, they will be when they leave. Our interogators are asuming they are spies and combatants, if they arent, so be it, they will be when they leave. Its really counter productive, a lot of these men are giving fals information to stop the torture. This isnt how you extract information. We should be developing assets in the middle east, not squeezing them for information by force. That has its place, but it usualy just strenghten the resolve of the prisoner to either say nothing, or give phony information. |
