how do you think that the accuracy will be on this gun. does n e one own one that can help me out a lil. i was thinking if this was a accurate gun it could be worth the money. it would be nice to just own one tank. that way if friends call ya up for a woods ball game you always have air since it last 50,000 shots. oh and are the threads the same like could you get it filled at your local country store.

It's based off of what paint you're using, it'll be as accurate as your 98 custom, as long as you're using the same velocity, and a good paint match.

You can generally hit your target at about 400-500 feet. Amazing accuracy.

Gun's don't make accuracy at all. The only thing that matters is the paint to barrel match and how honed the barrel is. Get the gun, and get a better barrel.

A gun's design may help accuracy a smidge but only by a smidge. Air output consistency is as equally important as bore match and barrel design. You'd want all the paintballs landing on the same general area, right? |

This is a common myth, but a myth nevertheless. Accuracy, at least in paintball, really means consistency. Quality barrels and good barrel/paint match contribute to consistency by acting on the paintball in a consistent manner. Quality paint behaves in a consistent manner. The other major variable is how much air is delivered to the ball, as well as how it is delivered. Is the air delivered at the same pressure for each shot? For the same duration? This directly affects velocity of the paintball, which in turn directly affects consistency of flight. If you have ever stood by the chrono shooting 275, 291, 288, 264, while the guy next to you is shooting 288, 290, 289, 290, then you have seen this in action. Velocity spikes like that have more to do with the design and manufacture of the gun and its components (regulators et al) than with the barrel. And velocity spikes have a direct impact on consistency of ball flight. |

The C-3 I tested was very consistent in the velocity department. The gun was accurate out to 75-feet. After that, shots art to wander. I read something about the barrel needing to be broke in anyway. It’s not metal but made of composite. And there aren’t any aftermarket copies out there. This one doesn’t screw in but has to be aligned with the internals. Pepprdog may have more details. |

Since most posters felt like being jerks and not helping at all, to answer your question, I don't know about the accuracy department, but the tank threads are the same as the threads on a standard propane tank for a lantern or torch. You don't need to buy a special tank or anything. Also, most small propane cylinders say they shouldn't be refilled, so since they usually cost <$3 and you get 50,000 shots out of one, why bother?

thats what i ment by accuracy, not just how well it was for the first shot, but the velocity spikes and what not. i was just wondering is this gun worth the 200 bucks. oh and i kinda forgot that you couldnt fill up a lil propane tank. if you can get those things accurate im gunna buy one. i shouldnt say accurate but consistent. ill just wait a little while and then see what people say about it and what there is for it. but if you have n e more news just add it |
