So how does one go about obtaining the larger hose for the
RT? I have the GTA expansion chambre on my 98c and last
time (which was also the first time) I used Nitro(HPA), My rt was
really slow, much slower then with co2. Im hoping that if I get
the larger hose, I will be able to shoot like normal next time I use
Nitro... i do not want to remove the exp chambre because i still do use
co2 alot.

Call Tippmann and tell them you have a 98 LPK, and a R/T.
They will send you the bigger hoses and fittings free. |

Would anyone here think that this larger hose would help with the
problem im experiencing with using nitro with the rt and expansion
chambre... The RT works fine with co2, but with nitro, the it works a
little, but I cant get any fast bursts or Full auto (kinda)... Also, is
this the larger tube,
if it is, ill just pay the $3 at my local proshop and buy the
tube. Also, it says somehting about larger fittings, what exactly
does this meen?

When using nitro you should not have an expansion chamber. x-chambers frequently interfere with the air flow. Take off the x-chamber when using the nitro tank and see if that doesn't help your problem. But - the larger tube helps all RTs. Definitely one of the very best DIY upgrades out there. |

Yea, the exp chamber is really a PITA to take on and off, so if the
larger tube makes a large difference, ill keep the exp chambre in b/c i
use co2 quite frequently....unless it will damage something by keeping
the exp chambre on...

Or you could buy a Palmer Stabilizer, which works better than expansion chamber. But the cost is higher.

yea, Im really not lookin to dump to much more money into my 98c... the
$3 tube is okay, but buying a new exp chambre is not really what i
wanted to do.

Would you thing that this larger tube + fittings would help the HPA
work better with the RT, someone told me that it could actually make it
worse when using the HPA...

I put bigger hose on my RT before it was cool (me > others), and I play with nitro. The "super rt" and the straw mod are the two best things you can do for your RT, hands down.
