You can make your 98c shoot faster by purchasing a R/T and a better hopper.  If you get a R/T and not a better hopper you will start to chop balls and that won't be good now will it?  You can be more efficient in shooting by purchasing a LPK too.  This of coarse means get a nitro tank and this will improve your accuracy and your speed in some ways.  Mainly get the R/T and a new hopper if you are headed for speed.

R/T is Response Trigger-The Response Trigger System increases your trigger speed by resetting the trigger and sear with excess gas during firing. This gas is used to operate a cylinder behind the trigger to do the resetting. The pressure of your finger on the trigger pulls it back to fire the next shot. The speed is determined by the amount of flow through the knurled adjuster on the side. The upper limit on the rate of fire is set by this adjuster.

LPK is Low Pressure Kit- initializes your gun to use low pressure so your gun will shoot more accurate and more efficient. You can use co2 on this but I would prefer N2

The cyclone feed can and will feed up to 15 BPS.  Which I have a tippmann a-5 and I have never chopped a ball with that.  They have broke in my barrel but thats my balls not my hopper and bolt.  You can get that and the R/T.  That would be a good combination truthfully.

you definately need a new barrel. and you have to make sure that when you get the cyclone and the r/t that you call tippmann to get the special T-fitting that will make it able to go to the cyclone and r/t

The LPK does not make the more efficient.  It can improve consistency a bit, and it will reduce recoil quite a bit, but it is definitely not the most important upgrade for you.

If you are looking to increase your rate of fire, you basically have two choices with the 98 - RT or E-Bolt.  The RT has been described above, and is the most cost-efficient.  It can also be much faster than the E-Bolt.  It does require some tinkering, however, and is not permitted on some fields.  Check your local rules before buying.

The E-Bolt turns your gun into an electro, and is easy to use.  It also has modes, like 3-shot burst and full auto (these modes are not permitted on most fields, so ask first), but even in semi your gun will be much faster because your trigger pull will be super short and light.
