I'm in the process of ordering a Palmer in-line stabilizer for my A-5. I'm going to order a gauge with it,0-1200. What is the optimum operating pressue for the A-5.

                    thanks Mermadin24

I believe that it has been reported around 350 to 500 psi, but you will easily be able to find out with the gauge. Keep dropping your pressure until the marker fails to cycle properly. Then raise the pressure to a point about 50 psi higher than that. Playing with ball velocity and regulator pressure will allow you to optimize cycling pressure with correct ball velocity.

350-500 psi assumes either a low pressure kit or serious personal modding.  Without either of those "standard" is 850, but most people can get their guns down to 700-750 without much problem, and some have reported relatively unmodded A-5's operating down towards 550ish.

about 800 psi
98% of ion owners think ions are better than any high end gun. If you would like to bonus ball these idiots put this in your sig.
Proud owner of 3 guns and counting.
