right-side notice the rusted grip bolts from playing paintball in snow. up here in Canada, i only play paintball at my friends acreage outdoors at night, and it's always in the snow, cuz that's all we have up here. no igloos where i live though. the good thing is all the snow is now multicolored cuz it's white and we use different colored paint every time we play, so it's like a marrage of colors, but we don't get to see them unless we make it out during the few hours of day that we get. but that's all gonna change soon cuz sumer is coming right up, brotha.
looking through the barrel
from above
hoses (soon to be upgraded to larger diameter ones for better air flow) notice the superglue holding the response trigger end adaptor into the marker casting, had to resort to this because i stripped it screwing it in and it had wobble that would make it get loose every 10 shots. so i superglued it like madman and now it holds tight like a tiger. also had to superglue hose near t-fitting because i cut it a tad too short because i forgot to account for the extra slack needed to accompany the hose when you open up the feeder by pressing the front sight down. so i superglued it and now it's fine and dandy, when i open the feeder thingy, the hose just barely stretches instead of ripping out like it would before my superglue mania-spree.
t-fitting needed to run r/t and cyclone at same time
stage one of the silencing of the R-5 hopper insides used superglue to hold cloth onto inside walls of hopper
left a path without any cloth so the balls will ride it down into the feeder system

a look at the inside of it from the outside
how i carry it around for challenges
my crappy ass ~115CI HPA/Nitrogen/Compressed Air Tank. the retard who sold me it didn't say anything about the valve having a horrible leak, so it's bassically useless, and i never found out until i AFTER i went and got it hydrotested. gave me 4 minutes of fun paintball action before blowing te hell and back, now it's useless back to good ole CO2 for me, unless i find a good HPA tank. ![]() Edited by flatlandpercy - 03 February 2006 at 10:31pm |

ok my first question, about the low pressure kit.
will the exterior of the paintball gun appear as it did normally, or will it look different, like an extra long bolt sticking out of the back, or other? is there a way to adjust the slack on the trigger? is it supposed to be very UNslacky (touch&go)? why do people get top cocking, or rear cocking upgrades, what function does it serve better having it cock in these positions as opposed the the normal side cock? does the response trigger upgrade mean that once installed, the gun will shoot when you pull AND release the trigger? does low pressure upgrade work better with longer barrels or does barrel length stay the same ussually with LPK? my last question is most important: if i choose to use Nitrogen (Compressed air), can i just screw it in, or do i need something else to make it work on my custom pro? you dont want a bunch of wobbling going on with your trigger. you can fix wobble by replaceing the pin your trigger is on with the shaft of a [dont remember exact size] drill bit. its Barely bigger than the original pin. you can find details of this mod on the internet somewhere. if you find instructions for this mod, you'll probably find instructions for shortening the trigger pull. the cocking is pretty much just personal preferance yes the r/t fires once as you pull the trigger, and then uses excess gas to fire off another shot as you release the trigger you'll need a regulator Edited by tippmann89c |

The white sheet accent's perfectly with the stockness of your marker.

The other cocking is just an alternative to a rocketcock. It is a
little more than personal preferance I think because they keep paint a
dirt out of your gun.

Eh, if I'm not mistaken, a Response trigger wont fit on a Custom Pro. (correct me if I'm wrong) The custom pro works off of a microswitch positioned behind the trigger, which is where a RT would be located.
The trigger slop can be solved by wrapping the trigger pin with masking tape, but be sure it's smooth, or it will decrease your trigger return. You can lighten up the trigger by getting a DOP double trigger, and drilling a setscrew into the back loop of the trigger guard, forming a block so that the trigger doesnt progress any farther then needed to activate the microswitch. A Low Pressure kit will add a cylindrical regulator about 3 inches in length where your steel braided hose enters the gun between the triggerguard and the foregrip. As long as a barrel is between 10 to 14 inches in length, you're fine. Any barrel beyond 14 inches is uneccessarily long, and could decrease the range or your shots, and a barrel shorter than 10 inches tends to have more accuracy problems as longer ones. As for the LPK, the barrel length will not effect anything. If you get a Nitrogen (N2) tank, you will be able to screw it directly into the marker. Although you can, it's not suggested, as a regulator is needed to get a constant, consistant shot. Be sure to Chronograph your marker before using it if you choose to go with Nitrogen without a Low Pressure Kit. Hopefully that answers all your questions. Goodluck. |

my response doesn't fire with pull and release... if you pull once it fires once unless you hold it. What you're talking about is more like the "response mode" on the e-grip |

UPGRADES
BT SEALED BOLT SYSTEM (similar to rocket cock) RESPONSE TRIGGER (bangbangbgang) J&J CERAMIC 16" Barrel MODS: reduced trigger distance note: thangow for response about electric hopper. i don't much care for electric parts, so i'm gonna wait till i can afford cyclone sys. i like r/t just the way it is, even if it chops, it can still keep up most of the time when i'm in full auto.
