I was told this was supposed to be in this section, so here goes. The Expansion Chamber upgrade for the 98C connects where the fore grip is, and so does the M82A1 Mag kit. The X-Chamber looks too long to fit within the Mag, so is there any way to make it fit? This would be a very useful upgrade for my 98C, because I'd have a Mag kit with an X-Chamber hinding underneath, and the vacant space within the mag kit will go unwasted.

Bigger magazine or smaller X-Chamber. Not much else you can do.

Do you know what other expansion chambers there are? Another magazine is out of the question. Also, are there any other upgrades that mount on the front grip that enhance performance? Or, any that will fit within the magazine? P.S. Ready to Tanqueray? |

You could try putting a regulator on it instead. They are a lot better than x-chambers performance-wise.
Here are some other x-chambers. |

Palmer Stabilizer is a good regulator, especially if you're using CO2.

Does anyone have a pic of a regulator attached to the 98C so I can see what it looks like on-gun?

well pretty much all x-chambers are going to be too big. and i believe the palmer stabablizer will also be to big because it has the bolts and stuff to adjust it you best bet would to get an air-through fore-grip. it won't do anything for the CO2 but thats pretty much what you are going to have to get

I was under the impression that air-thru fore grips were only available for the A-5.

Well JediJak, you're very helpful. Ok, are there any performance upgrades that can fit under the M82A1 Mag kit? I talking anything gas wise, X-chambers, regs, anything. Or, are there any performance upgrades that I can use somewhere other than under the Mag? They must be compatible with a remote and CO2.

really, a remote should do you fine. cuz you will have your bottle facing upright, so no liquid will get in the hose, and the hose will go to your gun just like an expansion chamber will work.

Yeah, maybe. So, a regulator would serve a better purpose then, huh? Regs make shots more consistent, therefore increasing my accuracy, which is definately a plus.

You can fit a regulator inside this air-thru stock.

The only thing is, I already have a stock. The best setup would be under the grip or inside the Mag as originally intended.
