Co2 will work fine with the A5. People who get fire power up grades have probs because Co2 freezes up there guns, I used c02 for the lat 3 years with out a Regulator or xchamber. I think that you might be new to paintball so Im going to reconmend useing co2 in the A5. And welcome to the forums

yea like he said ^ c02 will work with your gun and not really harm it.  People who have r/t or e-grips may have problems becuas ethey have a bigger chance of their gun freezing over.  Also playing in the cold with c02 isnt as good becuase it could feeze even quicker and the cold will make you have velocity spikes and things like that.  Remote lines or expansion chambers help with the freezing and help with the consistancy.

Like said above, you'll start encountering problems when you shoot at high rates of fire, or if you play in really cold weather. But if you take it easy on the trigger, you should be good.

Now if you want to have your gun running the best it can on CO2, then get a Palmers Stabalizer. It will help prevent your gun from freezing up, and will make it a lot more consistent than just running plain CO2.

c02 isnt going to kill your gun from using it.

You may notice freeze ups though when shooting fast in the winter.
