I have an old 98 that was used as a rental gun and I decided to give the old girl a new lease of life.

The external paint was in a bad way and she had a lot of scratches and chips:

The internals just needed a good polish:

http://opszone.invisionzone.com/index.php?act=Attach&typ e=post&id=2473

The external body was cleaned, primed and resprayed:

http://opszone.invisionzone.com/index.php?act=Attach&typ e=post&id=2475

The internals were polished with steel wool and a liquid metal polish:

http://opszone.invisionzone.com/index.php?act=Attach&typ e=post&id=2474

And this is the end result:

Their home is their battlefield. Their calling is war. Their only loyalty is to each other. They are the Wild Geese.

Meh, the magazine kills it. Everything else looks great including the restore job. But that mag is way too far forward, it's totally unrealistic. I hate when companies do that, make those mag kits that are way too forward. I also hate when scenario guns have double triggers but that's a different story. See if you could move the mag up against the trigger gaurd and I'll give it a 10/10.

Thanks for the appreciation.

Your right about the mag but it doesn't allow you to fix any other way, it uses the original hand grip postion - if you moved it to where it should be then the base of the hand grip would be exposed and it would probably need to be a gas through mag.

The best thing for me about this gun is the foregrip - it sits really well in my hand as I have large hands.

and Monkey Nuts - whose team you on at Flashpoint? (so I make sure you get extra special treatment!)
