i was thinking about polishing my a-5 internals but which bits do you polish? and what are the advantages of polishing your internals?

  Any where there is moving parts is where you should polish. So where the bolts are, linkage arm, etc. And it will allow for an overall smoother operation for your marker. So it will have less wear on your internals and O-Rings, and it will allow you to lower your guns operating pressure a little due to the reduced friction (if you have a reg).

is also lets your gun run smoother , i noticed a difference when i polished mine.

do its a good idea plus you can get your marker to shoot faster, "well alittle bit"..

yah definately where the moving parts are, friction is bad. don't forget to use metal polish after you remove the paint and what not

just polish where the hammer is, and where the bolt is. in leighman's terms, polish where the "big heavy thingy" in the back of the gun above the grip and below the sites sits, and also polish where the paintballs go into the chamber "thingy"

Really, it won't hurt anything if you polish what you're not supposed too. Just polish anywhere there is moving parts. So don't be worried if you polish a little extra, or somewhere you're not supposed too. Now the only thing I'd suggest is to not polish crazily. Once you get the silverish look, stop, theres no need to go further.

Yep, it's very noticeable.  It seems to help quite a bit in the cycling of the marker.
