I ordered a bigshot barrel from Doro and got it today. I trtied to thread it in and it doesn't go in. The threads look real close to the ones on my J&J ceramic though. They are a little different though. The barel says tippmann 98 on iy. Is this a different gun than the 98 custom?

it may be the old style threading on the 98. they switched a while ago. I don't know much about them. you'll get a good responce tomarro. hope i helped.

did you purchase the one on sale ? they will probably tell you that you need to purchase the adapter for it to work. It states that on their page before you buy it. Pretty sneaky because you don't know wether you have the old or the new threads.

Well I found out that even though I didn't get the one on sale, I actually did. Bought an adapter and it fits.
