Hey,
I'm interested in a Lapco Direct Feed and was wondering that because it needs an elbow, what would be a good elbow to use?  I'm not too familiar with elbows or companies that make them, and was wondering what type I should be looking for.

I heard ACI elbows work.  

Also, I'm looking into a Halo TSA LED Backman hopper, because it said it could feed 15 bps, and I was just wondering, is the egrip cappable in semi-auto mode at 14 or -14 bps, and would a Halo TSA LED Backman with a lapco direct feed feed 15 bps consistently?

	An ACI elbow would work fine. Elbows are pretty much all the same, there isn't much of a difference between different brands. If you can pull the trigger 14 times a second than the gun will fire 14 times per second. The e-grip is capable of firing that fast, unless for some reason they put a bps cap on it, but I'm pretty sure the it can do 14 bps. As for the Halo TSA I don't know about 15 bps consistantly. I have never used a TSA but from what I understand it is just an agitated hopper, it doesn't force feed the balls like the Halo B does. It probably could do 15 bps but I don't know about consistantly, maybe on a drop test but not on a marker with blow black gas and what not. Edited by GThomas - 11 February 2006 at 2:56pm

	From what I get from that jumbled mess is that you are wondering if you can cap the e-grip at 14 bps, not if its capable of firing 14bps. Well as far as I know it does have an adjustable firing rate for full auto atleast, I don't know if that rate goes for the semi setting as well. My experience comes from the A-5 e-grip which I assume works exactly like the 98 e-grip. If I'm wrong someone please correct me. Most of my knowledge is on the older tippmanns.

	Like I said the Halo TSA probably can't do 15bps consistanty, when advertising how fast a hopper is a lot of companies get that number from drop tests where they see how fast a hopper will empty when not on a gun. When a hopper is on a gun there are blow back gases (even with power and direct feeds) that push balls back up into the hopper and decrease the feed rate. If you want a garaunteed 15 bps go with a Halo B or and egg, or something with a higher feed rate.

	Even with a power feed blowback gases still blow balls back up into the hopper and out of the feedneck, go with a different hopper if you want to shoot a consistent 15 bps without chopping paint. Power feed helps a little bit but not enough to make a major difference. Go with an egg or a Halo B if you want to shoot at those speeds consistantly.

	That setup should work good, and you will definetely be able to do 15 bps consistantly with the egg and direct feed. I don't know why poeple think its so hard to read his posts, I can read them fine even without the spaces.
