I'm deciding between a cyclone or an electric hopper. I have a custom pro with a response trigger and im wondering what would work best with it. If you guys think a hopper could I get some ideas about which hopper I should get.

Go with a regular E-Hopper. For one, it isn't stuck on one gun, some (most) feed faster than the Cyclone, theres nothing to install, etc. As for which one to get, look into an Evo II (Evolution II). They feed up to 19 bps (a little slower in reality), and only cost $70.

the cyclone isn't "stuck" on your hopper. you take it off like any other hopper on a custom. all you have to do is just plug the hole for no air to come out

oh and, some info on both:

Cyclone:
1. no batteries
2. runs of excess air, no extra
3. will keep up with a r/t
4. you have to intall a new powertube for a custom 98, but its not that hard
5. its kind of bulky, and the stock hopper you can get easily hit with paintballs.

E-hoppers:
1. need batteries
2. don't change anything, just hook it on and go
3. and go faster than cyclone (depending on what kind)
Setup:
Tippmann Custom Pro
E-trigger
12" All American
BT Folding Stock
GTA Inline Expansion Chamber Kit
Dead on Pro seal
Cyclone Feed System
Remote Line
Polished internals

the cyclone is more reliable. Mechanical kicks electrical anyday. The cyclone is also going to be syncronized with the r/t!

Just like ashdawg said, it's going to be syncronized with your gun. And it just like the electrics.

No, what suzki meant was that if you ever upgrade to a different gun, the cyclone wont work. Wheras a regular electro hopper can be put on any gun. I would go with a Egg2, because you can put it on any marker and it will feed as fast as the R/t or Egrip can fire.

Cycone is good and easy maintenance but E-hopper's are fast and you can use them on other guns.
