Do it. It takes away some of the stiffness in your trigger. Or, you can take the spring totally out, but I don't like the feel it leaves.

He has a response trigger. It wont make any difference.
It doesnt even do anything on a normal marker. |

Yes, it does. The stock spring is very stiff. And to fire your marker, you have to "pull through" the spring in order to trip the sear. So with the lighter spring, it's easier to pull the trigger. Now you still have to trip the sear, so the pull will still be there. But will the PS mod, it lightens the pull up till' the point where you have to trip the sear. |

Sure its easier to pull through a spring, but its the sear and sear
spring you really have to pull against to fire. Theres minimal
difference in doing the pen spring mod, and I see it as a waste of time.
Also the piston of the r/t is going to make things harder to pull, and the sear spring and piston will overpower whatever effect you get by doing the pen spring mod. |

I saw that, but I can't put into words what I'm trying to say. I guess
its because im going out of what I know to be fact and into my
speculations.
Maybe your right. Go ahead and do it, but I still dont think you'll see a difference with the R/T. Edited by You Wont See Me - 15 February 2006 at 9:01pm |
