when you put the oil in make sure you take your barrel off and shoot like 30 shots before putting you barrel back on. that way you don't get oil in you barrel

I have heard that oiling the cyclone ratchet will increase the rate at which the ratchet will wear out and should not be oiled. I'm not sure if Tippmann changed the material that they were manufacturing ratchets from, but with the old clear rubbery ones the material will absorb the oil and stiffen and harden the material somewhat, causing the tooth to become ridgid and crack much easier. |
