I'm planning on getting an ion, but i don't know which hopper to get. I'm debating between the Evo II or the Halo. If I get the Halo which one do i get, there are so many. Please I need some advice.

umm get the halo b i guess. i got mine a week ago. haven't used it yet but it looks awesome. but u dont have to get that, i think the evo is better but its like 40 bucks more and i kno the halo can cover like 20bps+ and the ion shoots like 17 right out the box i think. i say the halo b.
Setup:

Get the Halo, with or without Rip. That's really your choice if you want to get it with Rip Drive or not.

I  think the guy above meant get the egg with z board, which can do what the halo can do for 20 bucks less.

Plus, looks don't matter at all.

well unless you get a new board in your ion

your ion will only shoot 17bps so an egg would be fine but it really depends on you. Halob's  are heavier and i personally dont like the other halo's and i know they dont feed as fast

The Halo TSA, Empiore Reloader, and Veiwloader Revolution will shoot 12-14 bps. The evo II will shoot around 19 bps( i think,,,do research on that). The Halo B you can shoot as fast as you want, without a worry. I say evo II if it shoots 19 bps, if not Halo B.

Get the egg. It feeds 19 bps, and the Ion can shoot 17 out of the box.

Empire B w/rip is what feeds my ion so i would go with the halo basically the same as the empire.

Get the reloader B like me = ) then when you have a gun that goes over 20 bps you dont need to get a new board! (Reloader is stock as 35 bps...)

wow...   Go look at the vid of a stock egg struggling to feed 14 bps steady for 1 hopper. It happened to me too eggs are mis in forming...  They can feed up to 19bps in bursts, but a revvi can do that. The empire b can feed up to 48 in 3 round burst but you dont see them Saying there hopper feeds 48 bps...(if you want proof go see the karni vid) The halo's eye cant red the balls fast enough for that so the sound thing is actually the fastest loader in paintball...that can hold more the 100 rounds (which excludes the q loader)

JUST GET AN EMPIRE B AND YOU WILL NEVER HAVE TO CLEAN ANY EYES.  The worst that can happen is after like 2-3 years you have to buy a new sound reciever and thats $2.99.

CYCLONE ON YOUR ION!!!

I've heard people love the eggy, but people love the halo as well.  Check pbreview and look at real statistics of the hoppers/ask people who own them.  To me, it looks like the empire b is the best choice here.

you could get the view loader velocity feeds 25 bps. I seen a video of a halo b and velocity being drop tested and the velocity was way faster.

I've got both, the egg is a better deal than the Halo, and it's easier to clean if it gets "souped". The only bad thing about the egg is that the battery compartment cover breaks easily, so carry some tape in your gear bag.
