This belongs in "Which Gun is Best", but you should go with the Ego.

I hate to be an upstart, but he is/former Tippmann owner, and I do not think he is in the wrong forum. He is asking friends/forumers for an opinion with experience and knowledge rather than which is best. I would like to give him some advice, but all I have so far is a Tippmann A-5. I know several others in this forum has had/own one of these markers. Help the guy out.

98_custom22, have you tried pbreview.com ? they have some opinions there from consumers with markers you were asking about. That's one way you can find out the end users opinions on those specific markers. May take some time, but its always good to do some research. Edited by mjicmike - 19 February 2006 at 2:23pm |

Meh. None of those would be my pick(s). But since I have to choose, I'd say go Ego, or Shocker.

not exactly hard to find, try actionvilage, i saw them there the if money isnt an issue, the DMC is a DM5 with about a pound shaved off according to PB2X and its damn sexy, all teh gunsyou have up there would work but my personal preference is the proto M6, as mentioned earlier, pbreviews consumer ratings gave it a solid 10/10 for 26 reviews which after spending a lot of time on that site is very hard to come by, the only other gun to get 10/10 with 20+ reveiews was the ripper timmy Edited by Hippiepower - 22 February 2006 at 9:31pm |

I would suggest that those are all good guns, and it really is a matter of feel and personal preference. You should try to hold/shoot each of them before buying, but you can't really go wrong in that price bracket.

If i didnt have my shocker now i'd def buy a nerve for 475, thats a wicked insane deal, you get a brand new nerve, locking feedneck, freak barrel, vision system, auto-adjusting lpr, nerve board all stock. The only reason the price dropped so much is b/c the shocker and the nerve are to similar and no one wanted to pay more for a gun that had the same features but was bigger and way more expensive. |
