i was looking to upgrade the board on my impy from the stock (the old one that dosent read dark colored paint)to the WAS equalizer board. what i really want to know is if its worth the $150 or should i get something diffrent for a little less?

Buy it. Just for the break beam capability, it's worth it. Plus, you get enhanced adjustability and modes.

i have a 98 custom pro does anyone know if i need to buy a regulay e-grip to use the was board or can i just buy a was board and install it in the pro

Nope.  Just buy the egrip sear and armature pin from tippmannparts.com and a better solenoid from APE at goapeonline.com.  Save even more by getting the APE board instead of the WAS.

Just get the board and solenoid from APE then.  It's all drop in.

Its def worth the $150, the w.a.s. board is the best thing that you can do to an impulse, it'll make so much difference, you'll love it.
