i have 2 for my a-5 and for some reason both of the e-grip solenoids
went out. the first one i had that went out i've had since
november and the second one went out only 2 days ago after i bought
it. i was told that it was a technical problem and to call
tippmann which i have and i'm sending both in to get repaired. my
question is: what's making the solenoids go out so fast and has
anyone experienced the same problems with the e-grip as i have?

I've never had that kind of problem with mine. Send the entire assembly to Tippmann, they'll fix it or replace it.

Maybe it's your board. It might get upgraded to a WAS board.

One thing that can screw up the board is rechargeable batteries, they usually do not have sufficient current to operate the solenoid properly, this may or may not be your problem.

I just had the same problem with mine. It tries to work but is
like super week. will not fire gun. Gonna have to send back
to them. This is the w.a.s. grip also. No I didnt use
rechargables but he might have. not sure. It was firing one
second then nothing, I changed dwell settings and debounce to no
prevail. Just hope it doesn't take long. Anyone know how
fast you get back fixed grips?

I am considered newer to paintball and im having a problem with my e-grip... its a newer version one with the button instead of the screw to change the firing modes... and my trigger is working backwards... to turn it on i have to pull the trigger and push the button and to put it in programming mode i have to just push the botton... its suppose to be the other way... and its not shooting on th pull of the trigger its only on the release... could anyone help me with this? |
