How exactly do you do this? how do you find a "sweetspot" on your RT? My RT is definatly working, but at a slow rate of fire, approx 5-7 BPS. Thanks for you helping. F µ z z ÿ ß µ n n ÿ o w n z |

You need to start with a full tank. Then you adjust the screw on the r/t fitting with the screwdriver that came with your gun or r/t kit. Turning the screw out will increase pressure to the trigger ram. Finding the perfect setting takes a little time and alot of Co2 or air.
A double trigger helps, it'll give the trigger a little more leverage against your finger, and give you finer control. A properly tuned r/t is very fast, make sure you have a good loader. |

sorry for the double post, but if you tune it out, does it increse or decrease the ROF?

Tuning it out will increase your ROF.

You might just not be finding the "sweet spot." It took me a while with mine, you just have to experiment with it. Usually screwing it out until you can see 2 threads will give you a good rate, about 11-13 bps. Don't pull the trigger all the way back, you should only pull it about 1/2 - 3/4 of the way and just hold it there and it will fire on its own. |

I know how to pull the trigger. I CAN get a very low ROF, with the 1/2 trigger pull, but I would like much faster than i already have. When I turn it all of the way in, everyone says it should be VERY hard to pull the trigger, but in my case, it is the same as if I was to shoot a string of 5 paintballs... is this a problem? |

the only part of the rt is the ram and the valve, impossible for them to messed up and work at all. you need to find the proper adjustment through trial and error and learn to bounce your finger on the trigger cause the trigger will kick back. be patient and have fun

I agree. Get a full tank of air and experiment with it for a while. It took me a while to get mine just right. |

do slow adjustments..like at most half turn at a time...you cant be impatient w/ this processs...its very time consuming and takes quite a bit-o-air...

do you have to find the sweet spot with paint in the gun? super wastage of paint if you did.

Yeah, thats what I was thinking... I tuned it to about 15 BPS, but filled the hopper with paintballs, and its back to its old routine... I didn't change anything, exept putting my hopper on the cyclone, then paintballs in the hopper.

i tuned mine without paint, then i filled my tank and used paint, it worked out fine, you just have to be sure that your tank isnt low or anything, try it out and see how it goes, if not then yes i guess you do have to tune afterwards, once you get the hang of tuning though, it only takes about 1 minute to find the sweet spot

You don't need paint to find the sweet spot. The sweet spot is just finding how much trigger pressure to apply to get the rate of fire that you want. It will shoot at that rate regardless of whether there's paint in the hopper or not.
