mix together in a pot when it is paste like put it in a container and put a fuse in it a light ... the chuck it away 

or you could buy one.... at least you know you wouldn't blow up.....

salt peter? were do you find this stuff?

1. Smoke Bomb Materials

   • sugar (sucrose or table sugar)
   • potassium nitrate, KNO₃, also known as saltpeter (you can find this at some garden supply stores in the fertilizer section, some pharmacies carry it too)
   • skillet or pan
   • aluminum foil
   Pour about 3 parts potassium nitrate to 2 parts sugar into the skillet (5:3 ratio is also good). Measurements don't need to be exact, but you want more KNO₃ than sugar. For example, you can use 1-1/2 cups KNO₃ and 1 cup sugar. If you use equal amounts of KNO₃ and sugar, your smoke bomb will be harder to light and will burn more slowly. As you approach the 5:3 KNO₃:sugar ratio, you get a smoke bomb that burns more quickly.
2. Apply low heat to the pan. Stir the mixture with a spoon using long strokes. If you see the grains of sugar starting to melt along the edges where you are stirring, remove the pan from the heat and reduce the temperature before continuing.
3. Basically you are carmelizing sugar. The mixture will melt and become a caramel or chocolate color.

   Pour the liquid onto a piece of foil. You can pour a smaller amount onto a separate piece, to test the batch. You can pour the smoke bomb into any shape, onto an object, or into a mold. The shape and size will affect the burning pattern.

1. If you aren't going to clean your skillet immediately, pour hot water into the pan to dissolve the sugar (or else it will be harder to clean). Clean up any residue you may have spilled out of the pan, unless you want mini-smoke bombs on your stovetop.
2. Allow the smoke bomb to cool, then you can peel it off the foil.

O.K. here is what we need.

ITEMS NEEDED

1. gunpowder

2. metal or plastic container (can not have deviders inside)

3. Trip-wire (string or chord works)

4. Detonation system (must be set of by pulling the string if your using a tripwire)/ You can also rig your own remote detonator.

5. strong plastic layer or wadding of some form.

6. either buck shot pellets or airsoft paintballs. (Depends on what your using this for.)

ASSEMBLY

1. Make a small hole in the middle of the bottom of the container if using a trip wire, or use this hole in you remote detonator has an antana.

2. Place detonation device in the center of the bottom of container. Cover any open part of the hole with duct tape so it is very secure and airtight.

3. Take container and fill bottom 3/4 with gun powder.

4. Take a small stick or somthing and spread gun powder evenly around bottom of container.

5. put the strong plastic cover or wadding, over the gunpowder making sure its held in so it and the gunpowder can't move.

6. Fill the rest of the container with buck-shot pellets/airsoft paintballs (make sure those are also despirsed evenly.

7. Close lid if it doesnt have a lid, tape 2 layers of tin-foil over pellets/paintballs.

8. Mark end with pellets with a danger sign of some kind for safty.

(You should probly paint it camo so it wont me real noticable)

There you go, you just built a ghetto-ish claymore with household materials.

Yeah smoke bombs work fine, but they are in no way non-flammable. It's ok you use them but don't go chucking them in a field. And most of them will spray sparks or chunks of fire so be really careful. Oh also, don't do the one that tells you to use gunpowder. Saltpeter smoke bombs are probably the safest of the dangerous homemade smoke bombs. Saltpeter can be found at a local pharmacy. Be careful, and if you use it don't let pressure build up in the vessel. Don't use glass, or a solid object. Toilet paper tubes would be safer (but still unsafe).
