co2 leak

When ever i put my co2 tank in i hear it leaking barely so i opened it  up but nothing looks wrong. I had this problem before and sent it in to tippmann and they fixed it.... for one game. Any one have any advice?

you have to be much more specific and find where it's leaking from or we can't help you at all.  There are a million things that can cause a leak, so give us some info and we'll be happy to help :)

about the leak, if it's your hose, you should unscrew the hose, put some teflon tape around the threads, put it back on, and tighten it until there is no leak. if it is the ASA, or your tank then you should change the oring on the tank

Your first order of business has to be to track down the leak.  If you don't have any CO2, go get a tank filled.

On the off chance that the place you've been getting it filled has a line filled with dirt or other crap, go to a different place to get your tank filled.

Then gas it up and start spraying your marker with some soapy water through a spray bottle until you narrow down the location.

Also think about getting a whole new set of o-rings and change one at a time, putting the marker back together each time and gassing it up.  It sounds like a pain, but you have to find out why one specific area keeps blowing the seal  Maybe there's a sharp point or rough spot near that o-ring that's chewing them up?

You might also consider calling Tippmann.  If they keep records at all, they'll be able to tell you what failed and what they replaced.  Might actually be the best place to start.

This happens quite frequently with me. When I first gas up my gun before playing, there is a small leak of co2 near the valve and barrel. This can most likely be fixed by oiling your gun. To oil the valve, take off your barrel first and put a few drops of oil in your asa. Dry fire 20-30 time to distribute the oil throughout the gun.

You might also want to try putting a few drops of oil on the pin of your co2 tank, sometimes it gets stuck.

Usually this works for me and the leaking stops. There is a chance that this might not even be your problem though.
