this might be a wierd idea, but what if they had paint balls that were more of an oval shape. same width, just longer. they would be great for sniping in the woods, like from trees and other places. it would work best if you had a barrel that would rifle (or spin the ammo) to make your shot more accurate. what do you think?

Been tried. In the mid-90's, a company called Saf-T-Paintball came out with a gun called the Macho Fire. It was magazine fed with .63 caliber football shaped balls. Never went very far, the company bankrupted itself very quickly. I think Tom Kaye at AGD tried this once as well, without better results than a standard round ball.

The problem with the paint bullets would be the shape. It would be easier if they used a conical round nosed bullet with an indent in the back of the bullet to catch more air. I think that if that were done they would then be considered as firearms instead of recreational guns. (no offense guys and girls)

Nope, at least not in the US. A firearm is propelled by explosive by the US definition. The problem with paint bullets is that the inner fill of paint doesn't spin with the outer shell. Therefore the mass of the round does not spin.

first, you have said something about math, and second, no, i refuse to stop being stupid so long as people keep posting stupid stuff about half of a minute after they register. i've been a member of this forum since 2003, about a month after i first purchased my a-5. if anything i should have more of a right than you or the kid who posted the nerf-football shaped paintball idea (which, lets face it, is ridiculously stupid) to post stupid stuff. i mean,look at it from my perspective; this kid joined and immediatly posted a stupid post the very same day. i joined and waited 3 years to make a stupid post, and i did it intentionally in response to his.
thirdly and finally, your mom jokes can in fact be cool and hilarious. Here's an example:

why dont you just slow your roll and just try to follow my message. what i was trying to say was:
1) kids who join shouldn't post the first thing that jumps into their skulls
2) i insulted the kid for doing that, having seen equally stupid posts from green newbs many times before and after continually insisting that newbs search topics before posting
