ok, well some of you probibly saw my last post asking the best barrel for the A-5? well i got a new question now. im getting a lapco barrel for my A-5 and i dont know wat one to get. should i get a SnapShot or a BigShot? what are the differences? which is better/worst THANK YOU! |

Difference is that the SnapShot is two-piece. Which offers NO advantage whatsoever, aside from the ability to swap out different length fronts and different bore size backs. Colin himself ("Mister Lapco") has stated the only reason he started producing 2pc barrels was to keep up with market demand (read: "hype").
Bigshot one-piece barrel will do the job. Colin himself stated he prefers the original 12 (11.5) inch length. Bigshot for med bore paints: .689 Autospirit for small bore paints: .687 |
