me and my friend are fighting about the lapco bigshot or snapshot. i recently asked (on this site) wich barrel is better and i took it that the bigshot is better. but my friend insists that the snapshot is better. (he is standing right here with me) here is some stuff we found about bolth barrels: snapshot is a little more accurate , is 2 piece, quieter, porting is better. bigshot can shoot almost all paint like a pro, 1 piece, alittle louder, porting is all at the end. if we missed something or got something wrong plz tell us. so what do you think? money is not an issue. wich barrel is an OVER ALL better barrel? and what barrel would YOU get? P.S. ohh and maby we are making a mistake. maby there is a better barrel a-5 barrel in the 10-60or70 price range? Edited by zataru - 05 April 2006 at 6:59pm |

Snapshot is better because it is in kit form. Thus, it should be more accurate because you can match the paints. Both are great, but the Snapshot gets the edge because it is quieter and theoretically more accurate. |

Ah, you only want the single barrel. Gotcha. If you get a .689 or .691 Snapshot, it would still be superior to the Bigshot. Accuarcy wise not so much, noise wise definitely. |

Lapco themselves said both barrels are equal in accuracy, and said there is no point in buying the snapshot because you could buy the bigshot and that other lapco barrel for the same price as one snapshot and you'd be good with every bore paint.
I SAID GOOD DAY SIR! |

It might be a little quiter but not enough to make a big difference. Who really cares about noise anyways? Save yourself some money and go with the Bigshot.
