Hey everyone. What is a good and cheap drop forward for the 98 custom. Also what is a good bolt for it? Are derlin bolts best or should I go with something else? Thanks |

i use a cradle that works fantastic, it has the on/off valve. i got it for like 25 dollars off e-bay. if u dont like e-bay, they got them for 30 but not on/off and there at like xpaintball and other paintball sites. i dont think a new bolt woild really be a good upgrade, use it for somethin else cuase stock internals always work best

stay away from new bolts they arn't worth it unless you screwed up your stock bolt, as for drops just look around and see what you think looks good, don't get something that people say looks good get what you think looks good b/c its up to you. also see what matches the theme of your gun(if you have one)

If you get a drop, get a small one. I'd look into the DOP Bullet drop, preferbly the medium size. And on a stock Tippmann, a bolt is not something I'd get. The performance increase will not be worth the money you spent (if you get a performance increase at all).

I thought about getting a new bolt a while back, but as you can tell, most people say its not worth it. Tippmanns have pretty solid internals right out of the box. As for the drop, its really up to you. Depending on how much of a drop you want, and what kind of look you are going for too. Like it was said earlier, E-bay is great for parts like that. I got a $35 DOP drop for $15 shipped. Just look around. Good luck! |
