i have a custom pro r/t and have been looking to upgrade to compressed
air. is the c-pro able to take this with little to no other upgrades
asides the tank? a couple of my friends said that i could just screw a
compressed air tank in and go...but i doubt and dont want to ruin my
gun haha

No upgrades needed, just buy a High pressue out put tank.(red Regulator) But then agin some tanks are just high pressure output and don't have a different color regulator. Mine dosen't have a color just black...... Not that it matters.
 Also with your RT, it will be harder to sweetspot but wonse you get that bad boy tuned.
