ok i gots 98 custom and its a pretty good gun, but im lokkin 2 get another 1, im tryin 2 decide either a ion or an a-5, guys at bear claw paintball said the ion is better than the a-5 and they r about same price range, so help me decide a-5 or ion?

I'd go Ion since you already have a Tippy. You'll need HPA and a fast hopper for it though.

youll be spending about $350 for a good ion setup- but the ion wont have much ups unless you buy it used -$200 for NEW ion -$100 68/4500 tank(used) -$30 for an Egg(used) so if you buy new, you will be spending alot more |

Agreed. To get the Ion you'll need a HPA tank and a good hopper. And getting an A-5 IMO is pretty pointless for you, since you already have an A-5. So I'd either A) Get some $ and get the Ion and stuff you'll need, or B) Keep your 98c, get HPA and a good hopper, then get the Ion later on, after you get some more $.

Keep the 98.
Save up and get an Ion. Buy the hopper and the HPA bottle and use them for your 98 while shopping and searching for that great deal on the Ion. If you sell your 98 you will regret it. I know that I do.

Yeah, getting an a-5 is pointless for you. I'd go with the ion. New or used is up to you, depending on how much cash you have. Make sure you have enough for hpa and a good hopper.

ions are 200$ and they tippmann a5s are 230. if you want a place to buy them from brand new i would buy it from this website

I like what the someone said earlier, buy your self the cyclone feed for the 98 and get a good barrel and hpa to go alonlg, you will have a sweet little setup then.
