i have a tippmann 98 and i have a flatline and q loader so they make disassemblt and assembly a pain in the butt. After i just test fire my tippy i brake it down and give it a good cleaning but with all this stuff on it it gets me frustrated. I was wondering if i wanted to do a quick clean if i could just spry down the inside and out side of my tippy with water and be able to do it without having to worry about water getting in the valve or something and messing anything up???

Well it wont hurt anything, but it wont help anything either. You need to oil the internals, water isnt a lubricant.

water will rust the steel parts, if you just hose it down the next time you go to use it all the springs will be rusty, dissassembly and reassembly aren't all that hard......cmon man!
