Im guessing that you play woodsball, I would suggest a RT or e-grip and possibly a HPA tank if you have enough money left over.

if you don't mind me asking, how do the others have an advantage? remember, the gun doesn't make the player, (lest we forget the scenerio that happens too often nowadays---the story of a few UB3R-5W33T newbs with electro guns getting owned by a few guys with pumps.)
that being said, if the guys you are playing with are just a little better than you, a R/T or egrip may compliment your flatline, and help to level the playing fields a little bit, but don't rely on your gun. it's not gonna get people out for you.

The "gun doesn't make the player" cliche is getting a little old i think.

I dont see anywhere that Dr. Death states the contrary.  He simply stated a better gun gives a player an "advantage" which it most certainly does.

As for your question. Assuming your A-5 is stock other than the flatline.

If you prefer woodsball, and like your flatline, id go for a decent regulator (palmers is best if you plan to stay on co2 for a while).  This will improve shot precision and consistancy, as well as improving gas efficiency.  It will also do a great job at keeping liquid co2 out of your gun, and is practically a requirement if you want to play in cold weather with co2.

On the odd chance you prefer speedball, your first upgrade should be a decent straight barrel. (The lapco Bigshot is a good place to start).  A close second is a power upgrade (R/T upgrade, or E-grip)
