You cant depend on getting your velocity to the right speed just by turning the screw a number of times. Velocity is affected by a number of things; weather, paintball bore size, ect. So the only way to get your marker at a safe speed is to chrono it. You will have to chrono every time you play. So, invest in a handheld chrono so that your safe when you play.

Get a chronograph or find one, and use it. If you don't I'll come to your house and slap you.

Yeah, even if you set the marker to the exact perfect fps and have dual regulators and an air system, if you put the gun away and take it out a week later, or even a day later, you'll probably be 50fps off of what  you had it set to befor.

As said many times before, there is absolutely no way to just adjust the screw to a certain position and have a certain velocity. Absolutely EVERYTHING on your gun affects shot velocity. Barrel, internals, gas source, gas setup, condition of your gun, even the outside weather.

Get a chrono, anything else is unsafe and shouldnt be discussed on the Tippmann forum.

Locking.
