i have an a-5 and my dad has a spyder pilot ( he got a good deal onn it 129.99 ) and he owns a smartparts progressive barrel and i own a j&j ceramic barrel. We where just talking and we thought it would be cool if he could use my barrel and i could use his barrel on our guns. so i looked into it and found a list of adapters and on it ti said that if the adapter your looking for is NOT on the lilst then its not made. so i looked and spyder barrel to A-5 marker was on it but A-5 barrel to spyder marker was'nt on there. so correct me if im wrong. ( i probibly am) but, the A-5 has the same threds as the prolite right? so if i got the prolite to 98 custom adapter then got te 98 custom to a-5 adapter and screwed them 2 geather then put them on the gun. would that work? |spyder to prolite| screwed in to |prolite to A-5| |

Heres an idea....
Dont bother, it would be cheaper to buy 2 new barrels than it would to get 3 adaptors, well 2 adaptors since A5's take prolite threads |

The A-5 uses Pro/Carbine barrel threads...I cannot remember if the Prolite uses the same threads as the P/C.
