air leaking out of bolt

my friends gun is leaking air out of the rear bolt area, is that the cup seal? if so how do i replace it, where do i get it etc. and pics would be appreacitated

Prolly a cup seal or an o-ring. I brought mine to my local shop and they fixed it for free.

Does it leak all the time including when the gun is cocked? Is it leaking down the barrel as well?  Either way it is most likely a valve problem. You can get parts at tippmannparts.com. I don't know how good your friend is with his gun, if you don't know what you are doing you might not want to mess with the valve yourself. Any pro-shop could fix it, or you could even send it to Tippmann to be fixed (most likely for free).

yeah, i can fix guns pretty well.... ive took the valve apart before and stuff, i just wanna know what the problem is before i mess with stuff

And read the next to the last post to understand the power valve and its possible leak points. While in that subject read the rest of the stuff about repair and maintenance of your marker. You could become an expert.

yeah i have a similar problem on my low pressuer kit. check the valve spring, because the hammer might be pushing the valve open, id say thats were ur problum lies
