Its a T-fitting not a t-valve. It just lets air go to both r/t and cylcone.

I've got a 98 with the RT and was looking to add the CFS.  It looks like you need more than just a T-fitting, because I came across this on ebay.

if you already have the R/T, then that kit would be useless. you already have the flow control valve and the hose. if you are going to buy the cyclone, then just order the banjo T fitting with the cyclone. i'd bet that tippmann would send you one free (or very cheap) with the cyclone.

paintballinbill, I see in your profile you've got the RT and cyclone.  Do you have a picture you can post to show the configuration of the two?  I've come across that adapter kit on a couple of websites, and if I can add the cyclone w/o spending another $25-30, it would make the investment easier to justify.

to tell you the truth it looks like that kit has 1/8 inch hose with is better than the stock r/t hose(it will give you more bps) i would just call tippmann and tell them that you have the r/t, the cyclone, and the low pressure kit(i know you don't but say you do), and see if they will send you the correct fitting to make the r/t work correctly with the low pressure kit.

this isn't the best picture, but oh well-it's all i have to work with right now. circled in red is the flow control connector and the hose for the R/T(which is included in the R/T kit). in yellow is the factory cyclone 90* connector, and the supplied hose(which is included in the cyclone kit). when you purchase either the R/T or cyclone, another 90* fitting comes with the kit, which would fit in the space where the white circle is, otherwise known as the power tube (if you installed only the R/T or cyclone). but, with both the R/T and cyclone installed, the banjo T fitting is needed (which is circled in white). basically, the T fitting sends the excess blowback gas from the power tube to the R/T and cyclone at the same time. if you already have the R/T, and are going to order the cyclone, tell Tippmann that you need the banjo T fitting, and they may just send it for free(or a small fee). either that, or go to your nearby pro shop and pick one up.

hopefully this helps.
