I lost my password on my old account so I had to make a new one. Anyway, I was wondering if you can run compressed air on a stock 98, or do you HAVE to have a low pressure kit for the 98. I need an answer ASAP, and thanks!

will it hurt the gun or internals? and I heard that I have to take my x-chamber off to use HPA, is that true?

(1)Your internals will be fine just the way they are.

(2)Your x-chamber should not have any effect on hpa (don't know for sure
though)

In rare occasions, the expansion chamber can restrict air flow to the gun with compressed air...if you have problems take it off, otherwise, it'll probably be fine.

I believe you no longer need the expansion chamber if you are going to be using compressed air.  The X-chamber is primarily used to prevent liquid CO2 from entering the internals of your marker.

make sure the tank is HIGH PRESSURE

low pressure tanks dont give out enough air for tippys, unless you have a lp kit
