I am thinkink og getting an a-5 with Egrip. I have seen numerous Barrels for this gun. Of ALL barrels that can be used on this gun which is the best. MY Order of importance is this:

1. Accuracy

2. Distance

3. shot speed

4 Care less about going around corners and over hills.

Please give me an idea of whats out there

Thanks,

Well, I would suggest a LAPCO Bigshot, which'll give you accuracy and general aftermarket distance for a great price. I'd also suggest looking into a barrel kit, whether it be a Freak or Empire.

Also have seen many like the j&j Ceramic 14"

So of these: flatline, lapco bigshot, J&J ceramic which of these is better for woods play. Not much if any speedball play here mostly woodsy play.

flatline gives you a hell of a lot of distance but no accuracy. i suggest a smart parts freak. or smart parts anything. J&J and Lapko are really great brands too. google all the different barrels you narrow down and you usally get ratings on anything you want.

if you prolly look at the 2 pages before this, prolly 8 topics that might help you

bigshot is prolly the best bet, or JandJ

flatline-no accurasy, only distance

J&J is so cheap and so great and quiet.  Man, i bought it for $60 from my local store(ripped off badly), but it is DEFINITLY worth the price.

definitely a lapco bishot. The j&j ceramic is about 15 - 20 dollars cheaper, but the lapco bigshot outperforms the ceramic anyday of the week. flatlines give a lot more distance than the bigshot and ceramic, but it lacks their accuracy. the bigshot is probably the best all around barrel, and it gives you the most for its moneys worth.

go with the bigshot.

edit: go with the 12"

the lapco bigshot is just as quiet, they just dont hype it up as much as j&j does.
