Depends, the virtue us uncapped but will only do around 24 bps. The blackheart is capped at 20 bps. The blackheart is nice because it has tourny settings. Its up to you, but I have the blackheart and I like it.

Virtue is MUCH better compared to blackheart. But get a T-board. Much cheaper and very similar to the Virtue...Or you can wait for the other boards to come out....

Max ROF - 20bps
Notes - Needs modification to be compatible with VP scythe trigger, Incompatible with the Critical RPM Trigger
Manual - http://www.smartparts.com/Manuals/B...art_Upgrade.pdf
MSRP - $125.00

Virtue Ion Board -
Modes - Semi Auto, Full Auto, PSP Ramping, NXL Full Auto, Breakout, Ramping, Auto Response
Settings - Dwell, ROF, Debounce, Dwell, Eye Sensitivity, Anti Bolt Stick, Anti Mechanical Bounce, Ramp Activation Rate, Ramp Percentage

MC_TP- its personal preference on which board is better, each offer their own things. What I do like about the Virtue is that you can plug in a membrane pad and with the Blackheart you have to soder a connecter to the board.

I've seen and shot an ION with Virtue, and I must say that with an aftermarket trigger, that thing will rip so hard.

I hate to say it, but its the only ION I have ever liked.

G’s Paintball has graciously invited APE to show off our products at the NPPL Super 7 Tournament in Tampa May 19th through the 21st. We will have Rampage boards for the Tippmann A5 / Pro-E’s along with Tippmann demo markers for you to test drive. In addition (if all goes well) we will be demonstrating our latest product - The Rampage ION/SP8 board! This board has been under development for several months now and has UNMATCHED customizability, control, and features!

Here’s just a SMALL sampling of what the Rampage ION/SP8 Board offers:

8 Standard modes of fire
- Semi
- Turbo+ (programmable)
- Burst (programmable)
- Full Auto
- PSP3
- NXL
- AND 2 FULLY PROGRAMMABLE 3-step Ramping Modes!

SPEED!
You choose where to cap your maximum rate of fire OR uncap it to as fast as your hopper can feed! Separate control for speed with eyes on or eyes off as well.

Tournament Legal!
Internal Tourney Lock switch will automatically lock in your Tourney mode choice and cap your BPS rate at 15. This will also deactivate the keypad from making changes so you can play with confidence that you’re legal!

Total Marker Control
Too Many Customization Options to list! If you can think of it, you can adjust it! Programmable Auto Shutoff time, Programmable LED patterns, Programmable Keypad operations, Programmable Eye/Bolt/Noid controls…

The MOST ADVANCED RAMPING ON THE PLANET!
Over 1.7 BILLION Setpoint combinations (YES BILLION!). Never before has so much flexibility been available… Experience a whole new dimension to ramping with our “Rampage” modes!

Trigger Trainer Mode
How fast can you pull the trigger? The Rampage ION board will let you know with the built in Trigger Trainer Mode!

Total Keypad Control
The coolest keypad ever is included! Designed to work EXCLUSIVELY with the Rampage board. Adheres to the back of your ION Grip and features 3 Pillow enhanced tactile keys:

AND 4 LEDs (Blue, Green, Yellow & Red) integrated into the Keypad
All LEDs are viewable in direct sunlight! No more washed out, hard to determine colors from a single LED

Designed for Speedball AND Scenario Players
Never before has a board provided the flexibility and configuration for both Speedball Tourney players and Scenario players alike.

I'd wait for the Tadao (if they're making one). Tadao>All. But if you have to choose now, I'd get the T-Board. I've never been a fan of Virtue.

And please don't get something "just because the pro's use it". It's all about money... They play with whatever their sponsors pay them too... If someones sponsored by SP, then they're going to play with a Shocker, not because they think it's the best gun out there, but because they're sponsored by SP, and are getting payed to advertise their stuff.
