Im looking into adding a speedball gun to my arsenal.  I need something cheap and reliable.

Spyder Imagine

or

Spart Parts Ion

 

I like em both but only will get one.  Please post the con and pros you know about and what gun will be best apgradable.

I would suggest the Ion. Don't waste your money on a sear-tripper spyder.

You do have HPA, right?

not even the same class of gun. i like spyders and all, but i suggest ion.

ion would be the best for you since your getting a hopper and HPA tank

what hopper now?  I suggest an Egg2

most people want new triggers on the ion, then a feedneck

Go for the Ion. Much more reliable gun than any Spyder. Plus, it kicks butt straight out of the box.

ION without a doubt in my mind, probobly in anyone elses for that matter. Get the Ion it will whoop right out of the box, plus u get the perks of having one as well, more available upgrades, and PLENTY of people have them so it will be easy to find out how to fix somethihn if soemone goes wrong.

I agree with all the others, go with the Ion, its a much higher quality and is not as tempermental as spyders, which are known to be great off the start, but then when something starts to go wrong the whole marker goes downhill, very fast.

also as the others said, the Ion is used alot more so if you are having problems with it, most other people would be able to help you out because they also have Ions and could probably help you find the problem.

sorry to echo the others, but it never hurts to just backup what the other say to make sure the point get across

Thanks for the feedback fellaz, Im ordering my Ion, white Events and a 88ci 4500psi pure energy tank in a couple of weeks.

I just need some input on all the upgrades ya think it needs. Budget is pretty open at the moment so go crazy with your ideas.  I play woodsball alot, but now I want to bring speedball back in to my life.  So im trying to keep everything for speedball White and Black...kinda like those White Events.

For hopper im thinking Halo b w/rip, for barrel i have no idea..too many.  Firebolt, and there are some nice body plates.
