my buddy bought a 98 custom 3 weeks ago and has used it twice. last week he screwed his tank in and it began leaking from the valve. i tried it the day after and no leak, but upon removing the tank and immediately screwing it back in it the valve began leaking again. i took things apart and put teflon around the braided hose where is screws into the valve but it is still leaking. i am guessing it has to do with one of the o-rings in the valve, but being a new gun i am wondering if he should send it to back to tippmann for the fix rather than me doing it. thoughts, opinions and suggestions please.

Try Oiling the marker. A few drops in the asa and a few on the bolt o-ring might do the trick. When ever I have a small air leak, the first thing I do is re-oil the marker, then dry fire a couple times. 90% of the time this does the trick. If that doesn't work then you start messing with the air connections. |

One shot, One kill.... Oh, wait. What fun is that? TEN shots, one kill, and a bunch of welts on your back.
