cyclones are really good and can feed fast as anything, although the new
posistion of the hopper can be really hard to adjust to. both are great |

there is no such thing as a sniper because everybody has near the same range with any gun. instead of snipers, they should be called sharp shooters because they eliminate people from distances

I'd go with the Halo. Faster, and you can use it on any marker.

^^^^ Halo isn't faster. Cyclone will feed as fast as your gun can shoot. |

cyclone doesnt need a battery, has a smaller profile, and is more reliable.

When a ball breaks in my cyclone, im stuck using Q-tips to clean it. Halo is easier to clean, and as said before, can travel to different guns.

I have to say the Halo for a couple reasons,
One, and this may be a personal thing, but the cycle hopper sits very strangely on a gun for my tastes. The way I play it too often sticks out from the side of my bunker and I get shot in the hopper too often(Which is why I sold my a-5) Two, a Halo is a bit easier to reload because the opening sits back a bit into the hopper instead of going straight up, so you don't have to bring the gun down much to load and you don't have to worry about as much spillage. Three, as everybody already mentioned, you can bring your Halo to a new gun with you when you switch/ Four, you really don't need the speed that the Cyclone is going to bring, and the halo will serve you quite fine. Five, the cyclone sits a bit further off, and can throw the balance of your gun for some players, especially when it's full. So, in the end, I guess I would recommend trying to find someone with a cyclone so you can field test it, because with my instincts my hopper sticks out when I use it, but paintball is all about personal preference, isn't it?? Test 'em out, see which you prefer. |

You can put Cheetah or BOOST in a halo and not only will it go faster than a cyclone, the balls will actually make it into the gun in one piece. Go for the halo. |

but I won't get electrocuted if it starts raining.... but seriously, it depends on what you want. i've never had any problems with my cyclone. it enables me to keep my gun fully mechanical. it's just one less thing to worry about. If you are seriously into Tippmanns, keep the cyclone. if you are going to change your guns every few years or so, i'd probably go with the halo... you wont get electricuted, alot of 10 year olds(cousins) think that, it doesnt happen my friends and i play in the rain alot with electric guns(imps, ecockers, shockers, etc.) and halos/eggs, we have never had a problem with rain getting in or anything |
